Sheet 01 Why an app

Bring Mybina along wherever you go

The people who sell into construction spend their week in the car, on site and in reception. They simply dont have the time to sit down and open a laptop.

You are already out there

You finish a potential client meeting in Shah Alam with two hours before the next one, why not easily find which projects are near you?.

'Near Me' maps the projects and companies around you, nearest first.

Immediate updates to your phone

Have a project you've been following and worry that other industry players get to them first?

A push notification reaches you the moment it is verified.

Keep track of your notes

Coordinate your team on-the-go with the project notes you discussed in your office.

Synced together with your main Mybina account. Be on the move and still easily see which urgent actions are needed.
Sheet 02 The app

Five tabs, Simple

The whole app is five tabs along the bottom. Everything below is one of them.

Directory

Projects, companies and suppliers, one search box and full filters.

Workspace

Your project notes and next actions, the same ones as the website.

Near Me

Projects and companies around you on a map, with distance.

Following

Alerts, followed projects and followed companies, with an unread count.

Profile

Your default filters, notification settings and sign in.

Sheet 03 Directory

Projects, companies and suppliers

Three directories behind one search box. Switch with a tap, and your subscription decides what you see, exactly as it does on the website.

01 / Projects

Scroll the projects that match what you sell

See the site photo, the state, the project value, the stage of works, the category and when it was last updated. Your saved filters from Preferences are applied the moment the tab opens, so the first screen is already your market rather than the whole country.

  • Filter by state, category, project status, job award status and project value
  • Contractor grade G1 to G7, storeys, units and land area
  • Keyword search across project names and descriptions
  • Follow or save straight from the card, no need to open it

Comfortably scroll down without needing to click next page
02 / Companies and suppliers

The contact chain, one tap from a call

Search over 18,000 companies by name, role and state: developers, architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, main contractors and subcontractors. Each result shows the role and how many projects the company is involved in, with Call and Email buttons that hand straight over to your phone. The Suppliers directory works the same way, searchable by product category.

  • Company page lists every project that company is on
  • Tap the number to dial, tap the address to email
  • Follow a company and get told when its projects move
Companies tab of the myBina app showing 18,377 companies with role, location, project count and Call and Email buttons
Role, location and project count on the card. Call and Email are one tap.
Sheet 04 The project page

Everything you would print, on a screen you already carry

Value, stage of works, job award status, specification, target completion and the full contact chain with the person in charge named.

03 / Project details

Open it in reception and walk in knowing the job

The project page carries the same record as the website: project information, summary, details and specification, plus the project contacts grouped by role. Past editions sit along the top, so you can see what the project looked like at its last revision and what changed since.

  • Job award status on the card, so you know if there is still time to quote
  • Every edition of the project, tap to switch between them
  • Follow, Save and Maps in one row under the value
One tap to drive there

The Maps button hands the project site to whichever map app you already use, Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps, with directions ready to start. No copying an address into another app at a traffic light.

Follow, Save and Maps sit under the value. Editions run along the top.
Sheet 05 Near Me

See what is being built around you

Two maps, both drawn from your own position: one for projects, one for companies. Pick a radius from 5 km to 100 km and the nearest results come back first.

04 / Projects Near Me

Fill the gap between two site visits

Every pin is a project. Tap one and the card tells you the stage of works, the project value, the target completion, the summary and how far away it is. The same filters as the Directory apply, so you can map only the categories and stages worth your time.

  • Radius from 5 km to 100 km, nearest first
  • Switch between the map and a plain list
  • Straight to the full project page from the pin
Projects Near Me map in the myBina app showing project pins around the user position, with a card giving project value, target completion, location and distance
Distance on the card. 1.7 km away is a call you can make on the way home.
05 / Companies Near Me

Find the firms working your area

Choose the roles you care about, main contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers or any of the rest, and the map fills with the companies near you holding those roles. Each card shows how many projects that company has in progress, how many in total, and the distance, with the telephone number one tap away.

  • Filter by role, then by company name if you are hunting one firm
  • Hide companies with no live projects
  • Straight through to the company page and its project list

Roles, radius, and how many jobs each firm has running.
Sheet 06 Workspace

Your desk work follows you out

Notes and next actions are the same records as your Management Dashboard on the website. Write one on site and it is there when you sit down, write one at your desk and it is in your hand at the gate.

06 / Project notes

Write it down before you are back in the car

A note belongs to the project and to the company, carries a date, an outcome and who it was assigned to, and is visible to the team member it was assigned to. What was quoted, what was promised and who said it stops depending on anybody's memory.

  • Attach a note to a project, a company, or both
  • Assign to a team member and filter by who
  • Deleted by mistake, undo it from the same screen
Workspace Notes tab of the myBina app showing a dated project note with an outcome tag, the project it belongs to and who it is assigned to
Same note table as the website dashboard. One record, two screens.
07 / Next actions

The callback that does not get forgotten

Set the next action against the project while you are still standing in front of it: the call type, the due date, the company and the person. The list sorts by date and tells you what is overdue, what is coming up and what is done, so a Monday morning starts with a list rather than a search.

  • All, overdue, upcoming and completed views
  • Tied to the project and the company, not floating in a to-do app
  • Shared with your team on the website dashboard
Workspace Actions tab of the myBina app showing dated follow up actions with completed and ended status tags against named projects and companies
Follow ups with a due date, a status and the company attached.
Sheet 07 Following

Get told, instead of checking

Follow a project or a company and the app pushes you the day our researchers verify a new revision. Nothing to check, nothing to miss.

08 / Push notifications

The update finds you

Projects move. A tender closes, a main contractor is appointed, subcontractor packages go out. When the project you are following reaches its next edition, the notification lands on your phone and the unread count sits on the Following tab until you have read it.

  • Separate switches for project updates and company updates
  • All notifications off in one tap when you are on leave
  • Every alert kept in the Following tab, so nothing is lost to a cleared banner
  • Followed projects and followed companies listed on the same screen
Following tab of the myBina app listing alerts that a followed project has a new update, with unread ones marked
Unread alerts are marked, and the tab badge carries the count.
Sheet 08 Who it is for

Built for the people who are never at their desk

Sales and business development

Working a territory by car. Near Me turns a gap between appointments into two more site calls, and the notes go in before the next one starts.

Building material suppliers

Chasing packages before they are awarded. Follow the projects that matter and get told the day the job award status moves.

Contractors and subcontractors

Looking for work in a specific area. Map the live projects around a depot and see which firms hold the roles you tender against.

Consultants and QS firms

Checking who is on a job before a meeting. The full contact chain with the person in charge, on the phone in the car park.

Managers

Notes and next actions written in the field land on the website dashboard, so the pipeline is current without chasing anybody for an update.

Anyone already subscribed

The same account, the same subscription filters, the same data. The app is the other half of a desk you already use.

Sheet 09 Getting the app

Three steps to having it on your phone

01

Tell us what you sell

Send us your name, company and the states or project categories you work in. It takes about a minute.

02

We set your account up

Our consultants walk you through the app on a call, set your default filters to your market, and send you the download link for iPhone or Android.

03

Sign in and start

One sign in with your myBina account. Follow a few projects, set Near Me to your territory, and the alerts start arriving.

Sheet 10 Questions

Before you ask

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes, both. The screens on this page are from an iPhone, and the Android build is the same app. Ask our consultants for the download link for your phone.

Do I need a myBina account?

Yes. You sign in with your myBina member account, and your subscription decides which states, categories and project types you see, exactly as it does on the website.

Is it the same data as the website?

The same database, live. A project revised by our research team this morning is in the app this morning. Your notes, next actions, followed projects and saved projects are the same records too, so there is nothing to sync and nothing to copy across.

How does Near Me know where I am?

It asks your phone for your location when you open one of the two maps, and nothing is loaded until you allow it. Distances are straight line, not driving distance, so treat the kilometre figure as how far, not how long.

What do the notifications actually tell me?

That a project or company you follow has a new verified edition. Our research team re-checks projects over time, and the alert goes out when that revision is confirmed.

Can my whole team use it?

Each person signs in with their own account, and notes and next actions can be assigned between team members. Talk to our consultants about setting the team up.

How do I get it?

Send an enquiry and our consultants will walk you through it, then get you set up. They will go through the options with you on the same call.

Put your market in your pocket

Tell us the states and project types you sell into. Our consultants will walk you through the app, set it up around your market, and get it onto your phone.
